Our farmer-beneficiaries from Salocon and Timpas clusters had a two-day full SRI (Systems for Rice Intensification) training. It covered the principles of SRI, preparation and seed selection, seedbed-making, land preparation, soil fertility, alternative pest control and agro-ecosystem analysis. We are so honored to have SRI practitioners Rene Jarandilla and Joby Arandela of SRI Pilipinas, as trainors and mentors for the entire demo-cropping season!
