Passing-on Ceremony was a solemn gathering of Lat-asan and Agojo beneficiaries where the pains of Yolanda’s aftermath were revisited for acceptance, sharing and healing. It was a sacred time to honor that powerful spirit that refuses to be defeated and is very much alive in every survivor. It was a sacred space where healing stories are told and re-connection to the collective spirit of sharing and reaching out to help fellow survivors, was made and honored. It was a sublime place that recognizes how one’s contribution however small, when multiplied many times, can be passed on and become a great gift to another community in need.
